Cremation with Life Tribute Package
A Life Tribute can be held with the urn present or with the body encased within a closed cremation casket suitable for the event. The event can be held at any location of your choosing - Orange County, CA location (some locations or churches charge a facility usage). An event within which a closed cremation casket is present allows opportunity for family and friends to pay homage with the body present. In addition, the alternative container (fiberboard box) satisfies the requirements of a suitable container required by the crematorium which is necessary in order for the cremation to occur. We offer a full array of cremation caskets from which to choose. With this option selected, Fond Remembrance will arrange for and direct the Life Tribute ceremony along with the placement of the urn in a local cemetery, columbarium niche, mausoleum, or ossuary as requested. As with all of our cremation packages, these services can be arranged within the convenience of your own home, and in your own time, without the necessity of a trip to a funeral home, or the pressure of a sales counselor. All paperwork is completed electronically and over the telephone, or via an in-house conference.

Package Includes:
- Our basic service fee of funeral director, staff, and overhead, including an on-line, phone, or in-home arrangement conference.
- Transportation of your loved one from the place of death within Orange County to our secure holding facility.
- Sheltering the decedent in refrigeration (up to 5 consecutive days).
- Placement of body into an alternative container (provided). (see Cremation Merchandise for optional cremation casket selection)
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard. An alternative container provided by the purchaser must be one that can be closed, is leak-resistant, combustible, and must be acceptable by the crematory.

- Decedents of weight exceeding 300 lbs. will incur additional fees as set forth by the crematory due to limitations and restrictions on the cremation chamber, and the need for an alternative durable cremation container suitable for weight restrictions. Call for pricing.

Decedents can often be prepared for immediate family identification. The fee covers the cost associated with the preparation of the body and the use of the viewing facility at the crematorium.
